Team administrator

Keep the team's paperwork straight. Mostly registrations, kit and subs.

Busy in August, quiet after that

How many hours
Busy for a fortnight in August, then under an hour a week.
Where it sits
Your team, with the registrations team behind you.
Is there a budget
No budget attached to this role.

What you would do

  • Make sure every player is registered and every registration is complete
  • Sort kit orders and keep the squad list current
  • Chase the handful of families who have not paid, so the coach does not have to

What the club gives you

  • Safeguarding, free, and a DBS if you would like one
  • Access to the club's systems and someone to show you round them

What is required

Safeguarding Children in Football

The FA's online course. Free, done at home, and it needs renewing every three years.

Takes about three hours, at your own pace.

What is not required

  • A DBS is not required for this role, because it does not usually involve contact with children. We will arrange one if you would like it, and plenty of administrators do.

What happens after you click

  1. 1You tell us you are interested. Four questions, about a minute.
  2. 2Our Volunteer Coordinator gets in touch, usually within a couple of days.
  3. 3We start your DBS straight away, because it is the slow part.
  4. 4You do the safeguarding course at home, in your own time.
  5. 5You start. Alongside someone experienced until you would rather not be.
I am interested

Not a commitment. It starts a conversation.
