The passing football on display was a real highlight. Coaches on both sides were pleased to see young players looking up, finding space and picking out teammates rather than just booting the ball forward. Oxford City FC Blue's coaches were quick to praise the Tigers' approach after the final whistle, which is always good to hear from the other side of the pitch.
It is a promising start to the season for the U9 Tigers, and one the coaches will be keen to build on as the weeks go on.
